This Colombian Microlot from Jose Urbano’s farm Buena Vista has everything that makes Nariño’s coffees special... with an unexpected twist. You might think, considering its unusually juicy flavors of plum, lemon and apricot, that this microlot was either a natural or honey process. But it’s neither! It’s actually a washed coffee.  

This lot was the first time Jose had brought his harvest to Pergamino, the exporter, and they were astonished when they cupped the coffee on the ground at their lab near Jose’s farm. Jose fully washes this coffee with a fermentation period of 48 hours, then sun-dries the coffee out on patios.
